Mesh denoising is crucial for improving noisy meshes acquired from scanning devices and digitization processes. This paper proposes a general, robust approach for mesh denoising by using a combination of bilateral filtering, feature recognition, anisotropic neighborhood searching, and surface fitting and projection techniques.
