  journal={Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology},
ABSTRACT The ornithopod dinosaur Gasparinisaura cincosaltensis gen. et sp. nov. is described. This new taxon from the Upper Cretaceous of northwest Patagonia (Argentina) represents the first report of basal iguanodontian ornithopods from South America. Gasparinisaura shares with the Dryomorpha the out-turned jugal-postorbital articulation, prominent lateral primary ridge in maxillary teeth, well-developed brevis shelf and metatarsal I reduced or absent. It retains a well-developed quadratojugal… Expand
A New Basal Ornithopod (Dinosauria, Ornithischia) from the Late Cretaceous of Mongolia
The most complete prepared specimen of Haya exhibits a sizeable gastrolith mass, representing only the second occurrence among ornithopods, and provides weak support for grouping Haya with the Chinese Cretaceous taxa Jeholosaurus and Changchunsaurus, suggesting a greater hidden diversity of such animals in Asia. Expand
New materials of Gasparinisaura cincosaltensis (Ornithischia, Ornithopoda) from the Upper Cretaceous of Argentina
New material of Gasparinisaura cincosaltensis from the Rio Colorado Formation (Upper Cretaceous) of northwestern Patagonia (Rio Negro Province, Argentina) provides seven new characters that areExpand
A new ornithopod (Dinosauria, Ornithischia) from the Upper Cretaceous of Antarctica and its palaeobiogeographical implications
Abstract A new ornithopod dinosaur from the Upper Cretaceous (Maastrichtian) Snow Hill Island Formation, at James Ross Island, Antarctica is here described. This new taxon, named as MorrosaurusExpand
Abstract The discovery of a new iguanodontian ornithopod in the lower units of the Neuquen Group (Rio Limay Formation, early Upper Cretaceous) increases the South American record of this kind ofExpand
A new ornithischian dinosaur from the Cretaceous Liangtoutang Formation of Tiantai, Zhejiang Province, China

Abstract. We report the discovery of an almost complete skeleton of a new iguanodontian dinosaur, Talenkauen santacrucensis n. gen. et sp., from Maastrichtiano rocks of southwestern Patagonia.Expand
New records of basal ornithopod dinosaurs in the Cretaceous of North Patagonia
During the last decade, the record of non-hadrosaur ornithopod dinosaurs (collectively calledin many texts as either basal iguanodontians or, in amore inclusive way, basal ornithopods) has beenExpand
Draconyx loureiroi, a new camptosauridae (Dinosauria, Ornithopoda) from the Late Jurassic of Lourinhã, Portugal
Abstract A new ornithopod dinosaur is described here under the name of Draconyx loureiroi n. gen., n. sp. on teeth, caudal vertebrae, forelimb, hindlimb, and foot material that were found inExpand
New systematic and phylogenetic data about the early Barremian Iguanodon galvensis (Ornithopoda: Iguanodontoidea) from Spain
A new phylogenetic hypothesis is proposed that resolves Iguanodon with the Valanginian Barilium dawsoni into a monophyletic clade (Iguanodontoidea), and can now be identified by three autapomorphies in the dentary, ischium and femur. Expand

Valdosaurus, a hypsilophodontid dinosaur from the Lower Cretaceous of Europe and Africa
Abstract Material of the hypsilophodontid dinosaur Valdosauruscanaliculatus (Ornithischia: Ornithopoda) is described from the Lower Cretaceous (Barremian) of southern England and a new species isExpand
The ornithopod dinosaur Dryosaurus and a Laurasia–Gondwanaland connection in the Upper Jurassic
COMPARISONS of Upper Jurassic ornithopod dinosaurs show that Dysalotosaurus lettow-vorbecki (Tendaguru Beds, Tanzania, East Africa) is referable to the genus Dryosaurus (Morrison Formation, westernExpand
A comparative embryological study of two ornithischian dinosaurs
Osteo-logical and histological studies of a new hypsilophodontid, Orodromeus makelai, and the hadrosaurid Maiasaura peeblesorum indicate structural and morphological adaptations for their respective growth patterns and neonate behaviour. Expand
Abstract The Lower Cretaceous (Albian) Griman Creek Fm. at Lightning Ridge, New South Wales, Australia, has yielded seven partial femora of hypsilophodontid ornithopods. Six of these femora representExpand
Phylogeny and palaeobiogeography of hadrosaurian dinosaurs
New evidence from vertebrate palaeontology suggest that a substantial land connection between North and South America existed 85–100 Myr ago which facilitated the passage of many terrestrial vertebrates between the continents, including large herbivorous dinosaurs. Expand
The postcranial skeleton of the ornithopod dinosaur Tenontosaurus tilletti
ABSTRACT Tenontosaurus tilletti is a moderate-sized ornithopod dinosaur from the Lower Cretaceous (Aptian–Albian) Cloverly Formation in Montana and Wyoming. Tenontosaurus remains are abundant. TheExpand
Systematics of hypsilophodontidae and basal Iguanodontia (dinosauria: Ornithopoda)
