Nanocomposites (denoted RGO/ZnONRA) comprising reduced graphene oxide (RGO) draped over the surface of zinc oxide nanorod array (ZnONRA) were produced via a simple low-temperature route, dispensing with the need for hydrothermal growth, electrochemical deposition or other complex treatments.
