Let $(\mathbf{U}, \mathbf{U}^\imath)$ be a quasi-split quantum symmetric pair of Kac-Moody type. The $\imath$quantum group $\mathbf{U}^\imath$ admits a Serre presentation featuring the $\imath$-Serre relations in terms of $\imath$-divided powers.
