  • —The resin bees of Dianthidium subgenus Mecanthidium Michener are revised. Three species, all endemic to Mexico, are recognized: D. snellingi Tanner and Griswold, sp. nov., from Jalisco, D. zapotecum Tanner and Griswold, sp. nov., from Oaxaca and Chiapas; and the highly variable D. macrurum Cockerell from central Mexico.
