Cardiogenic shock (CS) is a state of critical end-organ hypoperfusion which occurs due to reduced cardiac output. Right ventricular dysfunction is the major cause for CS. Cardiogenic shock is the major cause of death in acute myocardial infarction which mainly happens due the consequence of acute left ventricular failure.
