A Research Model for Measuring the Level of E-commerce in SMEs

Abstract

From the point of view of SMEs, this article puts forward the measurement model of the SMEs ecommerce development level, which is of strong operability and valuable significance. A research model is postulated that contains eight potential independent variables and hypotheses under three broad categories technological, organizational and environmental characteristics. Research finds out that there are significant differences among e commerce adoption levels of SMEs in china. Finally carries out empirical analysis of 156 firms’ e-commerce development level on the basis of the measurement method. Keywordse-commerce; level of adoption; model; key factor; statistic analysis
