Most data hiding techniques in digital video utilize I frame to embed the secret information so the capacity of P and B frame is wasted. In this paper, we first analyze a data-hiding algorithm using the phase angle difference of the motion vector, on this base a novel steganographic algorithm based on the phase of the motion vector is proposed.
