Now it is a trend that active rectifier is used to replace the traditional non-controlled diode bridge in AC-DC-AC industrial drive system. Though direct power control (DPC) of three-phase voltage type active rectifier has drawn more and more attention, conventional DPC results in variable switching frequency, and consequently the system may suffer undesirable harmonics and the input EMI filter may be difficult to design.
