It was argued recently that the holographic higher spin theory features non-local interactions. We further elaborate on these results using the Mellin representation. The main difficulty previously encountered in this method is that the Mellin amplitude for the free theory correlator is ill-defined. To resolve this problem, instead of literally applying the standard definition, we propose to define this amplitude by linearity using decompositions, where each term has the associated Mellin…

How to succeed at holographic correlators without really trying

A bstractWe give a detailed account of the methods introduced in [1] to calculate holographic four-point correlators in IIB supergravity on AdS5 × S5. Our approach relies entirely on general

Higher-spin symmetry vs. boundary locality, and a rehabilitation of dS/CFT

We consider the holographic duality between 4d type-A higher-spin gravity and a 3d free vector model. It is known that the Feynman diagrams for boundary correlators can be encapsulated in an

Light-Front Bootstrap for Chern-Simons Matter Theories

We propose a new approach to solve conformal field theories and apply it to ChernSimons Matter theories and three-dimensional bosonization duality. All three-point correlation functions of

Higher Spin Gravity: Quantization and Algebraic Structures

The aim of this thesis is to explore the quantum aspects of Higher Spin Gravities (HSGRAs) and their underlining algebraic structures. We give a concise review of HSGRAs followed by three chapters

Light-front bootstrap for Chern-Simons matter theories

A bstractWe propose a new approach to solve conformal field theories and apply it to Chern-Simons Matter theories and three-dimensional bosonization duality. All three-point correlation functions of

Chiral higher spin theories and self-duality

A bstractWe study recently proposed chiral higher spin theories — cubic theories of interacting massless higher spin fields in four-dimensional flat space. We show that they are naturally associated

More on quantum chiral higher spin gravity

Chiral Higher Spin Gravity is unique in being the smallest higher spin extension of gravity and in having a simple local action both in flat and (anti)-de Sitter spaces. It must be a closed subsector

Slightly broken higher spin symmetry: general structure of correlators

We explore a class of CFT’s with higher spin currents and charges. Away from the free or N = ∞ limit the non-conservation of currents is governed by operators built out of the currents themselves,

Higher Spin Extension of Fefferman-Graham Construction

Fefferman-Graham ambient construction can be formulated as $\mathfrak{sp}(2)$-algebra relations on three Hamiltonian constraint functions on ambient space. This formulation admits a simple extension

Noncommutative Wilson lines in higher-spin theory and correlators of free conformal fields

In this note, we review the results of 1705.03928 on a special class of observables of Vasiliev’s four-dimensional higher spin gravity theory, referred to as zero-form charges. These objects were

Interactions in higher-spin gravity: a holographic perspective

This review is an elaboration of recent results on the holographic re-construction of metric-like interactions in higher-spin gauge theories on anti-de Sitter space (AdS), employing their conjectured

A bstractOwing to a renewed interest in flat space higher spin gauge theories, in this note we provide further details and clarifications on the results presented in arXiv:1107.5843 and arXiv:

Quartic AdS interactions in higher-spin gravity from Conformal Field Theory

A bstractClarifying the locality properties of higher-spin gravity is a pressing task, but notoriously difficult due to the absence of a weakly-coupled flat regime. The simplest non-trivial case

Light-front higher-spin theories in flat space

We revisit the problem of interactions of higher-spin fields in flat space. We argue that all no-go theorems can be avoided by the light-cone approach, which results in more interaction vertices as

A bstractWe consider a minimal interacting theory of a single tower of spin j = 0, 2, 4,… massless Fronsdal fields in flat space with local Lorentz-covariant cubic interaction vertices. We address

Holography from Conformal Field Theory

The locality of bulk physics at distances below the AdS length scale is one of the remarkable aspects of AdS/CFT duality, and one of the least tested. It requires that the AdS radius be large

A bstractWithin holography, we calculate the contribution of an arbitrary spin-s gauge boson exchange in AdSd+1 to the four-point function with scalar operators on the boundary. As an important
