ABSTRACT A new genus and species of marine reptile is described from the Pelsonian (Anisian, Middle Triassic) of Luoping County, Yunnan Province, southwestern China. This diapsid reptile with a secondarily closed upper temporal fossa is the sister taxon to Saurosphargis from the lower Muschelkalk (Anisian, Middle Triassic) of central Europe. It further emphasizes the close faunal affinities between the Eastern and Western Tethyan realm. The new taxon is convergent on cyamodontoid placodonts…
A new specimen of Diandongosaurus acutidentatus (Sauropterygia) from the Middle Triassic of Yunnan, China
A new nearly complete specimen of Diandongosaurus acutidentatus Shang et al.,2011 is described from the Upper Member of the Guanling Formation(Anisian,Middle Triassic)of Luoping,Yunnan Province. With
A new species of the genus Perleidus (Actinopterygii: Perleidiformes) from the Middle Triassic of Southern China
Perleidus sinensis n. sp., a new species of “Subholostean” fossil fish of the order Perleidiformes is described herein on the basis of a single, well-preserved specimen collected from the Upper
A diverse Late Triassic tetrapod fauna from Manzanera (Teruel, Spain)
Abstract Several outcrops with vertebrate tetrapod remains have been located in the Keuper levels (Carnian, Upper Triassic) of the Spanish municipality of Manzanera (Teruel Province). The Manzanera
THE FIRST SPECIMEN OF THE MIDDLE TRIASSIC PHALARODON ATAVUS (ICHTHYOSAURIA: MIXOSAURIDAE) FROM SOUTH CHINA, SHOWING POSTCRANIAL ANATOMY AND PERI-TETHYAN DISTRIBUTION
TLDR
A nearly complete and articulated specimen of P. atavus from the Middle Triassic Luoping Biota, Yunnan, South China is reported, marking a peri-Tethyan distribution of the species and preserving the postcranial anatomy of this species.
A new marine reptile from the Triassic of China, with a highly specialized feeding adaptation
TLDR
The preliminary analysis suggests that the new reptile found in the Luoping fauna might be more closely related to the Sauropterygia than to other marine reptiles.

TLDR
A gigantic nothosaur from the lower Middle Triassic of Luoping in southwest China (eastern Tethyan ocean), which possesses the largest known lower jaw among Triassic sauropterygians is reported, indicating global recovery of shallow marine ecosystems from PTME by the early Middle Tri Jurassic.
Exceptional vertebrate biotas from the Triassic of China, and the expansion of marine ecosystems after the Permo-Triassic mass extinction
Abstract The Triassic was a time of turmoil, as life recovered from the most devastating of all mass extinctions, the Permo-Triassic event 252 million years ago. The Triassic marine rock succession
The placodonts (Sauropterygia) from the Middle Triassic of Canales de Molina (Central Spain), and an update on the knowledge about this clade in the Iberian record
Abstract The Iberian fossil record of placodonts, a group of Triassic marine reptiles with specialized crushing trophic adaptations, is mostly based on scarce isolated remains and therefore poorly
An injured pachypleurosaur (Diapsida: Sauropterygia) from the Middle Triassic Luoping Biota indicating predation pressure in the Mesozoic
TLDR
A new specimen of the predatory marine reptile Diandongosaurus, based on a nearly complete skeleton, is reported, larger than most other known pachypleurosaurs, and predation on such a large predator reveals that predation pressure in the early Mesozoic was intensive, a possible early hint of the Mesozoics Marine Revolution.
A New Anisian (Middle Triassic) Eosauropterygian (Reptilia, Sauropterygia) from Panzhou, Guizhou Province, China
ABSTRACT Eosauropterygians rapidly diversified in the Anisian (Middle Triassic), a period by which the invertebrates had already completely recovered from the end-Permian mass extinction. The

TLDR
The systematic position of the species Ctenognathichthys hattichi is clarified and the taxon is proposed to be a further representative of the family Polzbergidae, and is transferred to the new genus.
