Abstract Bunderia misophaga gen. et sp. nov. is described from an anchialine cenote located on the Cape Range peninsula, northwestern Australia. This is the first epacteriscid calanoid known from Australia and represents the third genus of this family of mainly stygobiont copepods recorded in the Indo-Pacific region.
