Properties of benzanthrone aminoderivative ABM (conditional name) as a potential fluorescent probe were investigated. Spectral characteristics of the compound in different solvents as well as their binding to model lipid membranes (liposomes) and human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (lymphocytes; ly) were determined.
