  • RI Manager (Manly and Elliott, 1991) is a microcomputer program to assist genetic mapping in experimental organisms by providing functions for convenient data collection, organization, and analysis. It has been under development since 1988, and new features are constantly being added. This review presents the current capabilities of the program and some of the principles that are guiding its development.
