We discuss aspects of development of a low-cost realtime mobile-robot platform – ArEduBot for educational experiments. Our framework leverages ease-ofprogramming in block-diagrammatic form within the MATLAB/Simulink environment, together with several special-blocks developed within our Arduino-Simulink Toolbox 1 .
