This paper presents a kind of survivability evaluation technique for Tactical Data Link Network (TDLN). In our work, a distributed evaluation system via High Level Architecture (HLA) is provided to evaluate the TDLN on-line, and a novel quantitative evaluation method based on the principle of maximum deviation and subjective estimation is proposed to overcome the weakness of subjectivity from the method of expert consultant. Four types of TDLN are employed in the destruction experiment. The… Expand

Research on survivability metrics based on survivable process of network system
This paper concludes the network survivability into four basic attributes: availability, controllability, robustness, and adaptability, which can be used to test and evaluate survivability of network during the survivable process. Expand
Index System of Network Security and Survivability
This novel index system was built according to the Protection-Detection-Response security model and the Resistance-Recognition-Recovery survivability principle of network in the presence of attacks, failures, or accidents and is quantifiable, universal, consistent, compatible, and fine-scale. Design of survivable communications networks under performance constraints
A network design algorithm is described that uses a set of deterministic connectivity measures which result in topologically survivable network designs that also meet processing and performance requirements. Expand
A novel approach to real-time RTI based distributed simulation system
This paper proposes a novel real-time RTI architecture which addresses the weakness of HLA/RTI in terms of real- time applications and discusses the design and the implementation of the real- Time RTI end-system. Expand
