A novel multithresholding algorithm for color image segmentation is presented here using the concept of A-IFS histon obtained from Atanassov's Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set (A-IFS) representation of the image. A-IFS histon, an encrustation of the histogram, consists of the pixels that belong to the set of similar color pixels.
