A Gauge Field Model On SU ( 2 ) L × SU ( 2 ) R × U ( 1 ) Y × π 4 ( G YM

Abstract

We construct a gauge field model based on SU(2)L×SU(2)R×U(1)Y ×π4(SU(2)L×SU(2)R× U(1)Y ) from the principle that both the original gauge group GYM and the discrete group π4(GYM) should be taken as gauge groups in the sense of non-commutative geometry. We show that the Yukawa coupling and the Higgs mechanism appear as natural results. Work supported in part by The National Natural Science Foundation of China. 1
