In this letter, a fast anticollision algorithm has been proposed to improve the read performance of the EPCglobal UHF Class-1 Generation-2 protocol. Our algorithm is based on the early adjustment of frame length. To reduce the computation complexity of interrogators, the proposed algorithm resorts to only one examination of current frame length in each read round.
