A self-expandable metal stent (SEMS) has emerged as an effective palliative treatment for malignant gastroduodenal obstruction resulting from gastric or periampullary malignancy. Despite the stent’s effectiveness, tumor ingrowth and stent migration remain complications requiring reintervention.
