Electric vehicle batteries (EVBs) are crucial components of electric vehicles (EVs). They also account for a major share of the initial prices of EVs, inhibiting the diffusion of green mobility solutions. After having been removed from the vehicles due to an increased internal resistance or an insufficient ca- pacity to store energy, EVBs may be recycled, refabricated, or reused to comply with legal regulations and to generate additional business returns.
