A Domain Decomposition of the Finite-Element Boundary-Integral Method for Finite Array Analysis

Abstract

An extension of the FE-BI method for the analysis of finite arrays is presented. The method takes advantage of the structural redundancies of repeated array elements and coupling paths within the array to achieve significant CPU and storage savings. The method is presented and discussed along with results and comparisons to traditional approaches.
