A constant frequency output-ripple-voltage based CMOS current-mode dc-dc buck converter, providing fast load transient response and reference-tracking speed, is proposed in this paper. Unlike V2 control output-ripple-voltage based buck converter, the proposed buck converter can achieve fast and stable load transient response without relying on ESR value of output capacitor.
