To assess the modifications of the sympatho-vagal balance induced by mental stress, we have accomplished a computerized system able to cany out a complete spectral analysis of heart rate variability (HRV) signal. Based on a personal computer, it acquires ECG, respiratory, and blood pressure signals for each step of a mental stress trial.
