The number of paraneoplastic encephalitis cases has been gradually rising. The most common one being anti- N -methyl-D-aspartate (NMDAR) encephalitis (over 120 cases reported in literature) [1]. Various other synaptic antibodies have also been associated with autoimmune encephalitis.
