A CMOS Digitally Controlled RF Variable Gain Amplifier

Abstract

A new digitally controlled decibel-linear variable gain amplifier (VGA) is presented. The proposed VGA uses a folded cascode opamp and a capacitance-selecting technique to provide dB-linear gain control.
