A new catalog of visual double systems containing eclipsing binaries as one component is presented. The main purpose of this catalog is to compile a complete list of all known multiples of this variety, both for current analysis and to highlight those in need of additional observations. All available photometric and astrometric data were analyzed, resulting in new orbits for eight systems and new times of minimum light for a number of the eclipsing binaries. Some of the systems in the catalog… Expand
V773 Cas, QS Aql, AND BR Ind: ECLIPSING BINARIES AS PARTS OF MULTIPLE SYSTEMS*
Eclipsing binaries remain crucial objects for our understanding of the universe. In particular, those that are components of multiple systems can help us solve the problem of the formation of theseExpand
A New Recalculated Orbit for the Visual Binary CHR 90
In this paper, new orbital elements for visual pair WDS 19531–1436 = CHR 90 of the triple system V505 Sgr obtained from speckle interferometric measurements are reported. The first speckleExpand
Eclipsing Binaries in the MOA-II Database
TLDR
The results suggest that contact binaries with periods close to the 0.22-day contact binary limit are commonly accompanied by relatively close tertiary companions. Expand
BV photometry of quadrupole system ET Bootis
Abstract In this study, we present the first Johnson BV photometry of the eclipsing binary star ET Bootis, which is member of a physically connected visual pair. Analysis of times of light minimaExpand
V342 Andromedae B is an eccentric-orbit eclipsing binary
We present a photometric and spectroscopic study of the visual binary V342 Andromedae. Visual components of the system have angular separations of 3 arcseconds. We obtained two spectroscopic dataExpand
Spectroscopy of HD 86222 – a quintuple system with an eclipsing component
We present spectroscopic and photometric analysis of the quintuple star HD 86222 with an eclipsing component. Until now three visual components A, B, and C of this multiple star were known. FourExpand
Assessment of evolutionary status of eclipsing binaries using light-curve parameters and spectral classification
We have developed a procedure for the classification of eclipsing binaries from their light-curve parameters and spectral type. The procedure was tested on more than 1000 systems with knownExpand
A Unified Solution for the Orbit and Light-time Effect in the V505 Sgr System
The multiple system V505 Sagittarii is composed of at least three stars: a compact eclipsing pair and a distant component, whose orbit is measured directly using speckle interferometry. In order toExpand
The Galactic O-Star Spectroscopic Survey. I. Classification System and Bright Northern Stars in the Blue-Violet at R~2500
We present the first installment of a massive spectroscopic survey of Galactic O stars, based on new, high signal-to-noise ratio, R~2500 digital observations from both hemispheres selected from theExpand
Radial Velocity Studies of Close Binary Stars. XV
Radial velocity (RV) measurements and sine curve fits to the orbital RV variations are presented for the last eight close binary systems analyzed in the same way as in the previous papers of thisExpand

MSC - a catalogue of physical multiple stars
The MSC catalogue contains data on 612 physical multiple stars of multiplicity 3 to 7 which are hierarchical with few exceptions. Orbital periods, angular separations and mass ratios are estimatedExpand
Interferometric observations of the multiple stellar system δ Velorum
Context. The nearby (∼24 pc) triple stellar system δ Velorum contains a close, eclipsing binary (Aa, Ab) discovered in 2000. Multiple systems provide an opportunity to determine the set ofExpand
The spectroscopic and eclipsing binary AD Herculis.
Twenty-six spectrograms of the eclipsing binary AD Her obtained at dispersions of 15 and 30 A/mm are analyzed. All available determinations of times of minima are collected, corrections to previousExpand
Analysis of δ Librae including Hipparcos astrometry
New spectroscopy of the classical Algol system δ Lib, combined with high-quality optical and infrared photometry, provides the basis for a good understanding of the close binary system's mainExpand
Combining astrometry with the light-time effect: The case of VW Cep, ζ Phe and HT Vir†
Three eclipsing binary systems with astrometric orbit have been studied. For a detailed analysis two circular-orbit binaries (VW Cep and HT Vir) and one binary with an eccentric orbit (ζ Phe) haveExpand
Absolute dimensions and masses of eclipsing binaries. V: IQ Persei
New photometric and spectroscopic observations of the 1.7 day eclipsing binary IQ Persei (B8 + A6) have been analyzed to yield very accurate fundamental properties of the system. ReticonExpand
Eclipsing Binaries in Multiple Star Systems
About 80 eclipsing binaries are known to be components of multiple star systems. This is less than 2% of all known eclipsing binary systems, but the actual total is certainly much high than this, asExpand
SPECTRAL TYPES OF COMPANIONS TO VARIABLE VISUAL DOUBLE STARS.
Spectral types for 45 companions to 42 variable visual double stars are presented and examined. The spectra obtained in February 1983 with the image-intensified White spectrograph attached to the No.Expand
