OBJECTIVES To evaluate the proportion of pregnant women agreeing to cytomegalovirus (CMV) serologic screening. To collect data on CMV infection during pregnancy. DESIGN Prospective study. SETTING During two years, all pregnant women were informed on CMV infection.
