A microstrip antenna with frequency agility and polarization diversity is presented. Commercially available packaged RF microelectrical-mechanical (MEMS) single-pole double-throw (SPDT) devices are used with a novel feed network to provide four states of polarization control; linear-vertical, linear-horizontal, left-hand circular and right-handed circular.
