Tilting pads journal bearing (TPJB) force coefficie nts are usually evaluated by the Lund approach where pad de grees of freedom are reduced to those of the shaft (8 Synchr o ous Reduced Coefficients), therefore for each shaft per turbation pads are assumed to simultaneously response.
