We derive the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a Killing spinor in N = (1,0) gauge supergravity in six dimensions coupled to a single tensor multiplet, vector multiplets and hypermultiplets. These are shown to imply most of the field equations and the remaining ones are determined. In this framework, we find a novel 1/8 supersymmetric dyonic string solution with nonvanishing hypermultiplet scalars. The activated scalars parametrize a 4 dimensional submanifold of a…

Supersymmetric solutions of gauged five-dimensional supergravity with general matter couplings

We perform the characterization program for the supersymmetric configurations and solutions of the supergravity theory coupled to an arbitrary number of vectors, tensors and hypermultiplets and with

On the supersymmetric solutions of the Heterotic Superstring effective action

We consider the effective action of the Heterotic Superstring to first order in α ′ and derive the necessary and sufficient conditions that a field configuration has to satisfy in order to admit at

We consider the effective action of the Heterotic Superstring to first order in α′ and derive the necessary and sufficient conditions that a field configuration has to satisfy in order to admit at

Supersymmetric dyonic strings in 6-dimensions from 3-dimensions

A bstractIt was shown in arXiv:1410.7168 that compactifying D = 6, N=10$$ \mathcal{N}=\left(1,0\right) $$ ungauged supergravity coupled to a single tensor multiplet on S3 one gets a particular D = 3,

Dyonic supersymmetric solutions in supergravity

In this thesis we reproduce the result of [1] and [2]. We consider dyonic solutions that preserve some supersymmetry in theories with a negative cosmological constant. More specifically, we look at a

Supersymmetric solutions in six dimensions: a linear structure

A bstractThe equations underlying all supersymmetric solutions of six-dimensional minimal ungauged supergravity coupled to an anti-self-dual tensor multiplet have been known for quite a while, and

Symmetry enhancement of Killing horizons in D = 6 supergravity

We investigate the near-horizon geometry of supersymmetric extremal black holes in 6-dimensional gauged $N=(1,0)$ supergravity. We solve the Killing spinor equations along the lightcone and establish

Supersymmetric solutions in six dimensions: a linear structure

The equations underlying all supersymmetric solutions of six-dimensional minimal ungauged supergravity coupled to an anti-self-dual tensor multiplet have been known for quite a while, and their

Spinorial geometry, horizons and superconformal symmetry in six dimensions

The spinorial geometry method of solving Killing spinor equations is reviewed as it applies to six-dimensional (1,0) supergravity. In particular, it is explained how the method is used to identify

Null deformed domain wall

We study null 1/4 BPS deformations of flat domain wall solutions (NDDW) in = 2, d = 5 gauged supergravity with hypermultiplets and vector multiplets coupled. These are uncharged time-dependent

Fine tuning and six-dimensional gauged N =(1, 0) supergravity vacua

We find a new family of supersymmetric vacuum solutions in the six-dimensional chiral gauged N = (1, 0) supergravity theory. They are generically of the form AdS3 × S3, where the 3-sphere is squashed

Supersymmetric spacetimes in (2+1) adS-supergravity models

We find a class of (2+1)-dimensional spacetimes admitting Killing spinors appropriate to (2,0) adS-supergravity. The vacuum spacetimes include anti-de Sitter (adS) space and charged extreme black
