36-segmented high magnetic field hexapole magnets for electron cyclotron resonance ion source.

Abstract

Two high magnetic field hexapoles for electron cyclotron resonance ion source (ECRIS) have successfully fabricated to provide sufficient radial magnetic confinement to the ECR plasma.
