Abstract In the present work the activity was discussed of various soluble complexes of Ti and Zr with phenolate, carboxylate, unsubstituted and variously substituted cyclopentadienyl ligands in ethylene and 1-olefins homo- and copolymerization after activation with aluminum alkyls or MAO. Some of these complexes were also used for preparing catalysts supported on inorganic materials such as silica or zeolites after modification of surface functionality.
