Noncyclooxygenase metabolites of arachidonic acid (AA) have been proposed to mediate endothelium-dependent vasodilation in the coronary microcirculation. Therefore, we examined the formation and bioactivity of AA metabolites in porcine coronary (PC) microvascular endothelial cells and microvessels, respectively.
