1163 Fetal and Neonatal Metabolic Response to Extended Maternal Canine Starvation(mcs)

Abstract

Circulating fuels and glucose and lactate turnover rates among fasted newborn pups of 6 control and eight 5-day starved pregnant dogs were studied between 0 and 24 hrs of age.
