The excavation of Barbes-et-Fon-Danis at Saint-Laurent-de-Carnols (Gard, France) has provided a faunal assemblage dated at the transition period between the irst and the second Iron Age. This archaeozoological study provides new information on dietary practices and the processing of animal waste during the 5th and 4th centuries BC.
