[Vesico-uterine fistulas. Apropos of 2 cases].

Abstract

Vesico-uterine fistulas (VUF) are an increasingly rare entity (5% of all urogenital fistulas). The authors report two cases of VUF following cesarean section. The literature is reviewed briefly, indicating that Youssef syndrome is the commonest presentation. This lesion is certainly benign but is a source of discomfort for sexually active women.
