The results of the use of sacral anesthesia prolongated with opiates in patients operated on for acute paraproctitis, acute thrombosis of the hemorrhoidal nodes and acute anal fissure are presented. The advantages of this method of anesthesia are the low rate of complications and long-term postoperative analgesia.
