OBJECTIVES The aim of this prospective study was to compare the results achieved in two groups of patients treated for mid-clavicular fracture. METHODS The first group of 27 patients was treated nonoperatively with a rucksack bandage, whereas the second group underwent intramedullary fixation with a titanium pin, using a minimally invasive technique.
