We report on our clinical experience with laparoscopic nephrectomy in 35 patients. We have performed a total of 18 transperitoneal laparoscopic nephrectomies (TLN) for benign renal disease. After the introduction of a hydraulic dissecting device, we have since performed 17 retroperitoneal laparoscopic nephrectomies (RLN).
