The variations in the parasite population of fishes may be indicative of environmental alterations. With the aim of studying the variation of the parasitism by Ancyrocephalinae in Geophagus brasiliensis, two reservoirs of distinct trophic characterizations (Juqueri - eutrophic and Jaguari - oligomesotrophic) were compared.
