UNLABELLED Arachidonic acid cascade activated by cyclooxygenase is an important source of reactive oxygen species. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can shift an oxidative-antioxidative balance towards antioxidation by inhibiting cyclooxygenase.
