OBJECTIVE To establish the HPLC fingerprint of Ardisia japonica. METHODS HPLC analysis was performed on a Diamonsil C18 column (250 mm x 4.6 mm, 5 microm) with the eluting system of gradient consisted of methanol-0.1% H3PO4. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. The column temperature was maintained at 35 degrees C and the detection wavelength was 250 nm.
