Late asthmatic response (LAR) as well as delayed asthmatic response (DeAR) is an important clinical characteristic in adult severe asthma. These responses might be based on cell to cell interaction following lymphocyte activation. Therefore, to clarify the pathogenesis of LAR, we studied the lymphocyte functions of adult asthmatics with LAR provoked by inhalation of house dust and Candida antigen.
