Screening high-risk individuals with imaging tests, such as endoscopic ultrasound and computed tomography, can lead to the detection and treatment of predominantly asymptomatic premalignant lesions. These pancreatic lesions consist of resectable, mostly branch-type non-invasive intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms.
