Transrectal and transcutaneous ultrasonography was performed on 187 pregnant Merino ewes to measure the growth of fetal parameters (fetometry) such as the diameters of the eye, braincase and trunk, the width of one rib with its intercostal space and the crown-rump-length (CRL).
