A 71-year old patient presented with acute abdominal pain, nausea and emesis 3 months after right hemicolectomy for Chilaiditi's syndrome. The initial ultrasound examination revealed a loop of thick walled small intestine between the anterior surface of the right liver lobe and the diaphragm.
