BACKGROUND Solitary histiocytoma is an uncommon form of Hashimoto-Pritzker syndrome and an exceptional type of histiocytosis with cells of undetermined origin. A solitary often ulcerated congenital nodule is generally observed. We report two cases, one of each form.
