[Ribosomal vaccine obtained from Salmonella typhimurium and tested against the challenge of an orally administered virulent microorganism].

Abstract

Ribosomal preparation obtained from Salmonella typhimurium, used as a vaccine, was able to induce protection of 100% on mice challenged with 5.5 X 10(9) CFU of S. typhimirium administered by oral route. Effective dose at 50% was of 0.1085 mug, expressed as ribonucleic acid (RNA). This vaccine induced an important humoral response as soon as in nine days… (More)
