AIM OF THE STUDY In case of extensive bone loss arthrodesis can be more favourable than one or two stage revisions with new arthroplasties after infected implants. MATERIAL AND METHODS 19 patients with arthrodesis of the knee joint because of infected arthroplasty were clinical-radiological examined after 5.2 years.
